Adult Tennis

Our adult instructional programs emphasize strength in fundamental skills. Instruction, drilling, and interactive play using basic strokes are key techniques in our tennis classes.

Adult Introductory Tennis
This program is perfect for adults who are new to tennis! Whether you hope to play competitive or social tennis, these clinics will provide a solid foundation and the chance to develop your game. Learn the basics by meeting one hour a week for two weeks.

Co-ed Drop-In Tennis
No need to register in advance for this social co-ed group! Appropriate for players at the 2.5-3.0 skill level, this program begins September 10, and gathers in the lobby before each meeting. Contact Ginny Vass for more information at: Members only.

USTA 2.5-3.5 Co-ed Practice
A fun practice designed for individuals that are relatively new to competitive play, incorporating technical instruction, drilling and strategy into each practice. Please contact Marty Maehr at ext. 25 if interested in joining the group.

Men's Drills & Skills
Men's Drills & Skills is designed for 3.0-4.5 level players and is a high intensity workout emphasizing technique, consistency, strategy, and competitive play. Contact Marty Maehr at ext. 25 if interested in joining this group.

USTA Adult Elite Practice
Competitive singles and doubles oriented practices for 5.0 men and women. All players must receive Tennis Pro approval to participate in this advanced practice. Please contact Marty Maehr (ext. 25) or Peter Pusztai (ext. 48) for further information.

Throughout the fall, winter and spring Liberty offers several TGIF - Tennis Guest Is Free - evenings on Friday nights. Tennis court prices are half-off and each membership is allowed one guest at no charge.
