The Balanced Body
Weight Management Program

The Balanced Body program at Liberty Athletic Club is much more than a fitness or weight loss program; it is a way of life. For those committed to making a lifestyle change, we have developed a research-based nine week program that is focused on providing you with a comprehensive fitness and nutrition program tailored to fit your needs. We will provide professional nutrition coaching, exercise guidance, education, and accountability. Working as a team, we will achieve positive results and you will be rewarded with a healthier, balanced body. Successful completion of the Balanced Body program will change the way you live!

Your individualized program will be based on the following general schedule:

Week 1
60 Minute Nutrition Consultation:
Review nutrition questionnaire and establish nutritional goals for the program

60 Minute Exercise & Fitness Consultation:
Review Health and Physical Activity History form, take baseline measurements, begin first phase of customized exercise program. Begin logging exercise and food intake.

Weeks 2-4
Weekly 30-Minute Personal Training Sessions:
Receive progressive exercise strategies from your trainer to help avoid plateaus and boredom. You will also be required to bring the food and physical activity journal for review.

15 Minute Nutrition Consultation:
Connect with your nutritionist on the phone, in the club or via email. The two of you will discuss progress, obstacles and strategies for moving forward

Week 5
45 Minute Training Session:
Assess progress through midway measurements, review food and physical activity journal, begin phase two of customized exercise program. You also receive a 30-minute Nutrition Consultation.

Weeks 6-8
Weekly 30-Minute Personal Training Sessions:
Receive progressive exercise strategies from your trainer to help avoid plateaus and boredom. You will also be required to bring the food and physical activity journal for review.

15 Minute Nutrition Consultation:
Connect with your nutritionist on the phone, in the club or via email. The two of you will discuss progress, obstacles and strategies for moving forward

Week 9
30 Minute Final Assessment and Program Review:
Meet with trainer to measure program results and establish future direction of fitness program 30-Minute Nutrition Consultation: Sit down with your nutritionist to review improvements in your nutrition during the program and discuss strategies for continuing your success

To begin your journey toward better health and a balanced body, simply register at the front desk and receive the Balanced Body Health and Physical Activity History form and Nutrition Questionnaire. Our Fitness Director will contact you to schedule an appointment and to determine which of our highly specialized fitness experts would be most appropriate for your needs.
