Mara Majer

Head Coach

We are excited to share that Mara Majer is returning as the head coach of the Liberty Lightning swim team! Mara is a student at Queen’s University in Canada, where she is studying Kinesiology and plans to pursue a career in sports medicine. Swimming has been a major part of Mara’s life for many years. She swam competitively for Orchard Hills Athletic Club, Saline Swim Team and subsequently Club Wolverine. She had the opportunity to live internationally for several years and was honored to be the captain of the high school varsity swim team at the Shanghai American School in China. Mara has had extensive coaching experience, working as an Intern Coach, Head Coach and Swim Instructor. Mara looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm and expertise in the sport with Lightning swim team members!
